CARLOTTA BELLOTTO

Carlotta Bellotto, light lyric soprano, was born in 1986. She studied at the University of Verona, earning degrees in Languages and Cultures for International Trade and Tourism Management (2008) and Languages and Cultures for International Business Relations (2010). At the same time, she pursued her vocal training at the F. E. Dall’Abaco Conservatory in Verona, graduating in 2010 with distinction. In 2013 she completed her Master’s degree in Opera Singing, graduating with highest honors under the guidance of mezzo-soprano Paola Fornasari Patti, with whom she continues to refine her artistry.

Since 2003 she has attended the specialization courses of the Kairos Academy of Verona, and from 2009 she has been part of its permanent artistic ensemble, performing in opera productions and concert series with critical acclaim. She has appeared in venues such as Teatro Nuovo and Teatro Ristori in Verona, Sala Maffeiana, Circolo Ufficiali di Castelvecchio, Auditorium della Gran Guardia, Società Letteraria, Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, and Teatro Salieri in Legnago. Her repertoire embraces opera, sacred music, German and French chamber repertoire, and salon music.

Highlights of her career include performing Mozart’s Exsultate, jubilate with the Conservatory Orchestra at the Basilica of San Zeno (2011), singing in Ennio Morricone’s anniversary tour TEN 2002–2012 in major Italian venues, and appearing as soloist in Vivaldi’s Gloria RV 589 with Claudio Scimone and I Solisti Veneti (2013). She has been praised as an interpreter of contemporary music, premiering Stefano Muscaritolo’s Plasticnation, Giacomazzo’s Petrosinella (Teatro Ristori, 2015), and works at Milan’s Festival “Le Cinque Giornate”, including Schönberg’s Pierrot Lunaire.

She made her operatic debut as Lucy in Menotti’s The Telephone and has also performed roles such as Malika in Lakméand Dorabella in Mozart’s Così fan tutte. With her clear timbre, stylistic versatility, and affinity for Mozart, bel canto, and contemporary repertoire, Carlotta Bellotto has established herself as a refined and expressive interpreter on both operatic and concert stages.
