SNG-Ljubljana
From Slovenia, Mojca Kalar start her debut at 6 years old in private school.
At 8, she continued her studies in the National Ballet School of Ljubljana.
She was 13, when she took part to her first participation in Swan Lake with the National Opera from Ljubljana.
After finishing her graduate, she joined the National Opera in 1992 - where she was distribute in several main roles.
In 1995, she won the 2nd prize at the Slovene National Ballet Competition.
Since then, Mojca enriches her repertory in classical ballet;
- Clara in Nutcracker (Petipa) & later (Y. Vamos)
- Lisa in “Fille Mal Gardée” (Spoerli)
- Swanilda in Coppélia (Y. Vamos)
- Peasant ‘Pas de deux’ in Gisele (Petipa)
- Swan Lake ‘Pas de trois’ (Petipa)
- Green table (Kurt Joos)
- Juliet in “Romeo and Juliet” (Birgit Cullberg)
She appear in International Tour in “Radio & Juliet” from Edward Clug, production SNG-Maribor;
Tours:
- September 2006 in Biarritz Festival “Le temps d’aimer”
- October 2006 in Tel-Aviv –the New Opera House
- November 2006 in Holland for 12 shows in different cities
